Shirley - Female Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel cross Poodle)

25-03-22 Shirley is a beautiful but frightened cockapoo who has come to us from her breeder. She is so scared she will snap out of fear if pushed. She will need an adult only home with experience of very scared ex breeders. Shirley will need at least on friendly resident dog to help her settle but she isn't keen on other dogs snuggling up with her at the moment. She is toilet trained in her foster home but may need reminding in her new home. She loves the garden, but does have a big fear of coming back into the house, so at this time needs either a small to medium garden or if big needs a small fenced area around door and needs 6ft fencing. She is very beautiful, loves toys (when no one is looking) can go upstairs but not down, this is the only time she allows her foster mum to handle her, in the morning to carry her downstairs, as she sleeps in her foster mums bedroom. I have manged to give her, her first ever haircut and she did really well. She still doesn't like human touch and is still nervous of everything. She needs a very experienced home who will let her take things at her pace. She doesn't walk on a lead, but does like the garden. Lots of time and patience is what Shirley needs.
