Nettle has certainly lived a different life to the other dogs we have in our care. Very shut down and avoidant to getting out of bed or wanting a walk, she feel safe and secure in her bubble of love. We must admit she is one that wants to be loved and paws for affection and loves a bed full of toys.
Nettle will require a new home full of security, comfort and calm. It take her time to interact on a more than one to one level and things can be very overwhelming for her. Possibly used to living a sheltered life and not within a home environment, Nettle may never be one for regular walks or socialising but her sweet nature and cuddles out weigh this and any patient owner will understand and do everything at her pace. We have found that Nettle feels more comfortable around females and may require a female owner.
Nettle loves adult companionship and must live with another dog for her confidence. She will require a minimal leave time to start off with.
