All animals, like us, have individual needs and requirements. By matching these needs we optimise the chance of a successful adoption placement. To make it easier for you to see if your home environment is compatible with the animal you have selected we have bullet pointed Raphaela's specific needs below. Amongst other things, Raphaela is looking for:- A calm, quiet environment. - A home with calm children over 14 yrs of age.- A secure private garden with plenty of hiding places and points of interest for her.- A home away from busy roads and railway lines- To be homed as the only cat - she deserves to be spoiled!Raphaela was rescued by the RSPCA after injuring her hind leg. She was living as a stray cat having to fend for herself so no one knows exactly how she hurt her leg. Thankfully she was spotted, picked up and taken to an RSPCA hospital for help. From there she was moved to Southridge. When we first met Rapaela she really had a lot on her plate! Not only did she have an open wound which needed treatment with but she was also very heavily pregnant. Soon after arriving with us she gave birth to four beautiful kittens who have now all grown up. Raphaela is really affectionate, very inquisitive and lively. She loves nothing more than to play with a new toy or roll around in some catnip. She is a very playful girl! If you feel you can offer Raphaela a suitable home, please get in touch via the perfect match form. Please before beginning the application process for an animal from Southridge double check that the home you can offer meets Raphaela's needs. We would like very much to be able to respond to every adoption application we receive, however, at the moment this is just not possible for us to do. Therefore, unless your application matches the required criteria we will not be able to email you back, similarly if we receive your application after the animal you are interested in has been reserved.
