Pax is a big beautiful boy who loves playing with his toys, especially football. He really enjoys his adventures and walks very nice on lead. Pax is housetrained and knows basic command such as 'sit' and 'paw' and is more than happy to get involved in training when there is treats involved! Pax is on ongoing pain medication to help with discomfort in his hips. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion and can offer Pax the calm and understanding environment he needs, he might just be your perfect match.
Meet the handsome 7 year old German shepherd cross Rottweiler. A big-hearted boy ready to find a patient, loving forever home. While he can feel a bit unsure when meeting new people, with a little patience (and a few tasty treats) he gains confidence quickly. Once he warms up, Pax becomes a loyal friend who loves affection. Pax would like to be the only pet in his new home, however he enjoys sharing his walkies with calm and polite doggy friends. He isn't a big fan of sharing his space with other dogs, but is quite happy to potter side by side. Pax sometimes struggles with barrier reactivity so he would like to have his own private garden with at least 6ft fencing and would do best in a home with adults only who can understand and support him through his worries. His new family would need to help him settle into his new home before introducing any leaving hours as Pax can become unsettled and vocal in unknown environments. Once Pax becomes more comfortable this can be built up gradually between 1-4 hours.
