Meet Kelly - she's a three-year-old German Shepherd who hasn't had the most luck when it comes to finding love. This adorable lady has her 'quirks' but once you've taken the time to build up her trust, she'll make for the most loyal companion who will relish every day by your side. She's very smart and is great fun to teach new skills, so would love to find a family who are just as keen as she is to participate in her reward-based training. Her favourite pastimes include solving food enrichment puzzles, playing with her toys, chilling on a cosy bed and exploring the quiet countryside. Kelly is a great traveller in the car and is ever enthusiastic to hop in, knowing that she'll be heading off somewhere fun. Less-frequented walking areas are required (or walks at quieter times of the day) as Kelly is fearful of other dogs, and so will need to avoid bumping into them. She will also need to wear her muzzle and lead when out for precaution. Experienced owners who are willing to continue with her behaviour management plan when on her walks, while being guided by our Training Team, would be perfect. Kelly will need to be the only pet in the household and she'll be unsuitable to live next to any doggy-neighbours. Any of Kelly's human pals should be over the age of 16 and leaving her alone at home is something that will need to be built up very gradually. To apply to rehome Kelly, please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. We are only able to consider applicants who are based within two hour's drive to our rehoming centre - BN43 5LT. In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
