At the centre, staff have affectionately nicknamed him “Padfoot,” thanks to his delightful resemblance to the beloved Harry Potter character. Merlin’s idea of a perfect day? Splashing in his paddling pool, chasing tennis balls with boundless excitement, and snuggling up on a comfy sofa afterward for some well-earned cuddles. He also has a soft spot for a good brushing session, where he’ll happily soak up all the attention.

Merlin is a charming and independent gentleman who truly enjoys the company of humans over other dogs, so he would do best as the only pet in the household. He can happily live with secondary school-aged children and is comfortable being left alone for short periods of time.
