Toni - Female Greyhound

Hello, I’m Toni, an 8 year old girl looking for a new home. This is my second stay with NAWT as I have sadly have to come back into care after losing my owner of 3 years who I loved very much. I was so sad about being back in kennels, that a fosterer took me in to keep me happy and motivated and I've loved having someone to share my toys with again. I do hope I find my forever home soon, I really will make someone as happy as they will make me.

I’m a sweet old girl and I just love to be with people. I love to get all the fusses and cuddles possible. I hate being left alone and I cry when people leave me so it is important that I find a home with someone who will be able to spend a lot of time with me. I can’t wait to spend my days sprawled out on the sofa next to you. I like to go for slow walks and although I walk nicely on the lead, I am quite strong so my owner will need to be able to hold me.

I am looking for a home with a nice secure garden for me to relax in, I can live with just adults or older children who will be able to understand my needs. I have a high prey drive so I cannot live with any cats or small animals. I might be able to live with a calm dog of a similar size to me, but we would need to meet at the centre a few times to check we get on.
