Meet Dudley, a 3 year old Lurcher who is a sweet and snuggly boy who likes nothing more than going on lots of long sniffy walks and adventures, then curling up in the warm for some cuddles in his favourite spot. He loves a fuss and will lean into a cuddle, he is a very affectionate boy, he loves a treat and does a perfect sit for it. Dudley is such a handsome looking boy who greets every one with a waggy tail. Our Dudders would make a wonderful addition to a new home.
Dudley is on the search for a loving home in a low dog populated area with quiet walking routes, with adopters who are home most of the time, who are able to continue his current training around dogs and settling. A family with the time to keep him mentally and physically stimulated and teach him lots of new things. He can live with children aged 16 years or older who can play happily with him and give him space when he needs it. Dudley can be quite frustrated around other dogs so is looking to be the only pet in the home, and will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer. Dudley walks lovely on the lead and does a lovely "Sit" and "Paw", he would enjoy adopters who can teach him lots of fun new things with some soft and smelly treats! He was housetrained in his previous home, but as always, may need a refresher in a new environment, so will need a private, secure garden with 6ft fences to play in. Dudley travels really well in the car which is great for taking him on great new adventures. Dudley is very worried being left alone, so is looking for an adopter who is home the majority of the time and can keep him company and make him feel safe, with the potential to build up leaving after he has settled in. Dudley will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
