Ziggy is such a darling and overlooked sadly due to struggling within kennels. When you meet him he brings out so much joy and happiness to a person, we dont know why he hasnt found that special one! Ziggy's favourite past time is to eat, sleep and play, making him a perfect companion! Just ensure you have a large enough sofa to squeeze onto.
Settling back into a new home may take time as Ziggy can be sensitive to day to day sounds and change, but with patience and confidence we hope he enjoys his new home. He is very smart and loves his interactive games and like most lurchers is very fast on his paws. Ziggy does not enjoy the company of other animals and has a very high prey drive so is happy with a large and secure garden for exercising in. If he were to venture out for walks, these would have to be rural and away from other dogs. Being the breed he is he would need to be muzzled and kept on lead.
Ziggy has a clean bill of health however we know how difficult it can be in the current economic climate and are offering to support Ziggy's new owners by covering health care and vaccinations under our Vet Support Scheme. His new owner will need to live within the Leicester area.
Ziggy will need a secure, large garden to call his own for off lead exercise and if appropriate enough he would be happy with just this area instead of a walk. He can live within an adult home and without other animals.
