Hi friends!! It’s Lacey here and I’m on the lookout for my loving forever home! I’ve been patiently waiting a while now for my happy ever after so I’d like to tell you a bit about little ol’ me and see if I could be the best friend you’re looking for.
I’m a 3 year old Staffie cross and I’ve a big beautiful heart filled with love to give to someone very special. I have made firm friends with the humans here and always greet them with a big waggy tail…in fact, quite often my entire body wiggles too! When I’m out with my friends, I enjoy mooching around the fields, chasing after my toys or snuggling for cuddles on the sofa.
Playtime is definitely my favourite thing in the world…so much so that my bedroom here is almost taken over by toys! I love to find a new toy and proudly take it back with me- finders keepers after all! I’ll often greet my friends with a toy and enjoy enticing them into a game or two. I’m a fan of all types of toys and I just simply cannot wait to have a toy box all of my very own.
Outside of playtime, I enjoy going out on my walkies. My favourite type of walkies is out in the countryside where there’s lots for me to sniff and explore and really enjoy myself. But, whilst I might like getting some fresh air, I’m also a relatively laid-back lady and my friends here think I’ll be a bit of a couch potato once I get these paws into a forever home! I’ve already got an armchair of my own and enjoy snoozing away all cozy and snuggly. With my love for human attention and affection, I can already picture my future including lots of snuggles on the sofa in front of the TV.
Life for me hasn’t always been easy and it has left me with a few little insecurities. I have worked so hard on my training and confidence here, and with the help of my friends I’ve learnt to trust more and more and I’m certainly a changed lady from the one who arrived! My insecurities mean I can be worried by new people and I might show that through barking-but if you can look past that you’ll see it’s just because I’m a scaredy baby who has lacked lots of good experiences and I’m trying so very hard to be braver.
If you take the time to get to know me, I promise I will love you forever and ever! Just like with my friends here, it doesn’t take me too long to work out you’re not so scary and then we’ll be best pals! I’m a girl who’d rather keep my social circle small and make new friends in time when I’ve got my best friend by my side rather than a social butterfly from the off. But I’ve got so much love to give to that special someone and getting to know each other will be such a fun, rewarding journey! I feel the same with other dogs so I’m not looking to share my home with any others. I’m looking for an adult only home but I’d be the best work from home companion or equally happy entertaining myself at home whilst you go out. If you think we could be the very best of friends, then please get in touch with my friends here!
