Amber - female Akita Cross

Amber is a sweet five-year-old Akita cross. She has a real zest for life! She enjoys doing zoomies and having a dig in the sand, she likes to dip in the paddling pool too. She loves to play with toys, and have a game of fetch with you. She is an excitable girl who is always pleased to see you and will jump up, she knows a ‘sit’, and some basic training, and through positive reward training, why not teach her some new skills. Amber prefers her personal space around other dogs and chooses to avoid. She would suit quiet walks where she can relax without dogs running up to her. Do you like to go hiking? She would love to join you. She loves having a fuss and affection and she cannot wait to experience life with home comforts and a family to call her own.

Amber is looking for a loving home where she will be treated like a queen, which is what she deserves after her rough start to life where she lived outside. She is looking for fun-loving adult adopters who like to get out for adventures and go on long walks. Amber has no history around children. She would be best suited as the only dog in the home. We have no history of her living with a cat or small furries. It is unknown about her housetraining in a home, and time left alone will need to be built up gradually to set Amber up for success. Amber is not yet confident about getting into the car and this is something that she is working on with positive reward training. Amber could cope with a reasonably busy household.
