Whitney - female Akita Cross

Being an older lady Whitney is on supplements for her joints and hips and may need further medication for this in her future, which her forever family will need to fund. For this reason she would be happy with gentle exercise and a relaxed environment. Whitney is currently living off site in a foster home.

Wonderful Whitney is a sweet girl who loves going for a walk and watching the world go by. She would love a quiet and peaceful retirement home where she can enjoy a gentle potter and then head back to bed for a nap. She would like to be the only dog in her new home as she can be uncomfortable around other dogs, but she's happy to walk past them with no bother. She enjoys her food and a fuss on her own terms, but is happy enough to entertain herself with sniffs and snooze. For this reason we think she'd be best suited to live with older children of 14+ who understand she likes the quiet life. Whitney loves watching the world go by and would love a garden of her own where she can sunbathe and relax. Whitney is currently living in a foster home where she's showed us she's perfectly housetrained, loves a snooze on the big comfy bed and is happy to be left for a few hours home alone. This lovely lady is going make a wonderful companion and we're loving seeing her relax into her home comforts!
