Zeus - Male Akita

Zeus is a stunning lad. At 6, he is alert, protective and loving of his family. He travels well in a car and understands the basic commands. He is also non-destructive at home. While Zeus is currently living with children and is fine with them, he has not really interacted with children outside. As such, he can only live with children if they are older and dog savvy and whose parents are committed to supervising. As Zeus has never lived with or interacted with other dogs, he will prefer a home where he can be the only pet.

Zeus takes treats very gently and does not guard his toys. However, he does not like people near him when he is eating and new owners will need to be mindful of this.

Typical of the breed, Zeus is polite but aloof at first. When he warms up, he is comfortable being handled. Zeus loves going out and is observant and active. However, he is a strong boy and pulls on the lead. New owners will need to continue training him on lead walking. Zeus is a handsome boy and will make the right owners the most rewarding companion.
