Freddy is a brilliant boy who once he feels at home, is an absolute bundle of joy! His silly antics and infectious energy are sure to bring a smile to your face, especially when he discovers his beloved toys. And if there's one thing that captures Freddy's heart more than playtime, it's food! His love for treats makes him a quick learner, ready to impress with a few tricks up his sleeve. Already housetrained and a pro with walking nicely on a lead (well, most of the time!), Freddy is eager to show off his good manners and sweet disposition. With his charming personality and loyal nature, Freddy will bring heaps of enjoyment to an Akita-loving household. Are you ready to open your heart to this wonderful boy? Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Meet Freddy, the delightful one-year-old Akita with a heart as big as his fluffy coat! Despite finding himself in need of a new home, Freddy holds no grudges and is ready to fill your life with love and laughter. This gentle soul is looking for a tranquil haven to call his own, far away from the hustle and bustle of busy streets. Freddy dreams of peaceful walks, where he can explore to his heart's content. While he adores the company of humans, he prefers older teens as younger children can overwhelm his sensitive nature. Freddy would like to be the only pet in his new home but does enjoy the occasional meet-up with dog friends out on walks. A garden for Freddy to romp around freely and indulge in his playful antics is a must as he will need to be kept on a lead in public.
