Milo - Male Akita

Milo is a handsome 4 year old Akita who is alert and curious. He greets strangers politely and is happy to be touched and patted. When he gets to know you he becomes friendly and playful. He loves his furry non-squeaky toys.

Milo understands the basic commands and travels well in a car. He is excited to go out and does pull on the lead a little so his new owners will need to invest a little time to continue his lead training. He can be a little nervous of traffic so an quieter area or at least a quieter area to enjoy long walks would benefit Milo.

While Milo displayed no toy or food aggression to our assessors, his owners have let us know that he does like to enjoy his food and treats in peace so his adopters will need to be mindful of this,

Milo’s ideal home would be an adult only with someone who is around most of the time as this is what he is used to, however when he is left alone he is non-destructive.

Our assessor described Milo as a delightful dog who will settle in well with adopters with experience of dogs with strong characters. If you think this may be you we would love to hear from you.
