Buddy - male Alaskan Malamute Cross

Buddy is a handsome boy who loves to explore and use his nose. He can be independent but comes out of his shell with his favourite people. This does mean he will need time to get to know his adopters before going home. He enjoys cuddles with his carers, playing with squeaky toys and eating the tastiest of treats.

You won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Buddy is handsome gentleman looking for a home where he can be the only pet. He would love a private garden to potter about in, and a separate room to call his own where he can enjoy his food. Buddy is looking for an adult only home with minimal visitors as he can be uncomfortable around new people. Once settled into his new home, Buddy could be left for 2-4 hours a time. Ideally adopters would live within 1 hour of our centre as Buddy will require multiple meets before going to his forever home.
