Posie - female Basset Hound

Posie is the sweetest girl who loves getting a gentle fuss from people she knows. Dasher and Posie can be overwhelmed and worried in unknown or busy environments and when meeting new people. Posie can be particularly worried by men she doesn't know but given time can make friends. They are looking for new owners who have had nervous or worried dogs in the past. Posie does get a lot of confidence from her son, Dasher, and they need to be together. Once Posie knows you, all she wants is love and cuddles! Posie does enjoy her walks but sometimes needs some reassurance from her owner when out and about. She is happy to hop in the car to travel to quiet and peaceful walking areas. Posie is a gentle girl looking for a calm and quiet home with new owners who will help her build up her confidence. Posie and Dasher are not housetrained and are looking for new owners who are happy to continue their housetraining in their new home. She would love to have a garden where she can do lots of sniffing and investigating. She is a total foodie and will take any treat on offer! Posie loves nothing more than sitting next to you on the sofa and enjoying a gentle cuddle. Posie and Dasher would like to be the only pets in the home and are looking for an adult only environment.
