Phoebe - female Beagle

Phoebe is a 7-year-old Beagle who is a sweet but complex girl. Phoebe's behaviours can be discussed with our training team. She can be shy at first, so potential adopters will need to make multiple visits to the centre to build up a relationship with her before going home. Phoebe will need to be the only dog in the home as she has shown resource guarding over high value items and prefers to have her own space, so this will need to be carefully managed in the home. Unfortunately, Phoebe is unable to live with cats/small furries. She is a special girl who is looking for a patient owner with an understanding of her needs.

Phoebe is looking for an experienced, adult only home where she can be given the time to settle into a new environment. She will need owners who are around all day that can build up any time being left alone as she has shown signs of separation anxiety when left. She travels well in the car and would enjoy going on day trips out. Phoebe loves her walks and to be out exploring and making doggy friends.
