Polly - Female Beagle

26-04-2024 Polly is a beautiful, gentle girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Polly is a timid girl currently but despite this her curious natre shines through and she doesn't run when we approach and accepts a gentle fuss over time. She can be skittish at times but despite feeling unsure around us she does accept a fuss and some attention after she has had time to warm up to us and realise we have good intentions. Polly gets on well with all dogs here and is happiest when snuggling up to them in bed and running around the play yard with them. Polly will need a confident resident dog in her new home that she can get comfort from and gain confidence by copying them in her new home. She will need kind understanding adopters that can help her learn new skills such as housetraining. She already knows how to walk on a lead and enjoys sniffing around with her kennel friend on short walks but she hasn't seen much of the world yet so needs to be introduced slowly and at her pace. Polly will need time and lots of tlc in her new home to help her settle in and bond with her adopters, this will be a big change for her so she will new adopters who are aware of this. Polly is a darling girl who will thrive once she's out of a kennel environment with lots of attention and comfort.
