Mabel - female Beagle

Mabel is a sweet young lady with strong hound traits. She is ideally looking for somebody with experience of her breed and able to keep up with her endless energy! Although she is super active and keen to get out and about, she does walk beautifully on her lead. Mabel has been happy to make friends here at the centre with all the dogs here on site and most of the people too, however she may need any gentlemen in her new family to visit her here a few times before she is confident enough to go home. Being a bright young hound, Mabel would absolutely thrive within a family who can offer her lots of mental as well as physical stimulation, keeping her brain and busy Beagley nose active! She will need to be monitored closely in the garden as she will easily figure out how any gates open, and how to jump the fence!

Mabel is looking for a new family where any children are over the age of 10 and confident around her boisterous nature at times. She cannot live with any cats or other small furry animals but she could share her home with another dog as long as they are willing to put up with her rough play! She will need somebody at home with her for most of the time as she is not used to being left and is destructive if left to her own devices. She is house trained but is known to open doors for herself and raid the bin whenever the chance arises!
