Val - female Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois)

Val would love a home that is fairly active and will be up for taking her on plenty of adventures. She will travel in the car so is happy to go further a field if needed to. She really enjoys playing with toys and will never turn down a game of fetch. Val would love to have a secure garden so that she can have some off lead play time and zoomies. Val is a special girl who will make such a loving companion to the right home.

You won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Val is such a lovely girl who can be worried by new faces and situations so does need an understanding home that will give her time to settle in at her own pace. Once she has built a friendship with you, her sweet, affectionate side really shines through. Val will need to be the only pooch in the home as she prefers having all the home comforts to herself and will need to be walked in quiet areas as she can woof at other dogs. A quiet, Adult only home with not too many visitors will be best for Val. A home with someone around to help her settle in and to carry on her training will be great for her. Val will need adopters to come and visit her a few times before she heads home.
