Kasta - Female Bernese Mountain Dog Cross Poodle

23-01-24 Kasta is a sweet girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She is wary and worried about her new surrounfings and will need a calm and understanding home with another dog who can lend her some confidence and show her new skills such as house training and how to walk on a lead. She is looking for a calmer home to help her relax with someone who is experienced with worried dogs and can gently encourage her forwards. She needs lots of time, patience and love in her new home to help her settle and begin to love her new life. Kasta has see our vets to be neutered and they have noted she has narrow ear canals and required some treatment which she is now receiving. She has a PETS passport travel doc. 12-03-24 UPDATE Sweet Kasta is growing in confidence everyday. Still timid with humans; she has really opened up towards her kennel friends and has found a best friend in Rhinestone. These 2 will run laps in the yard play fighting and prancing about until one of them gives in from tiredness! Kasta had some terrible matts on her and was in desperate need of a bath which she done very well with. The matts were removed but we are awaiting for her to be professionally groomed by one of our wonderful volunteers. This week we will begin harness training so that eventually she can explore the outside world. Kasta would enjoy a home with a playful resident dog so she can continue flourishing into the lively girl she is.
