Paisley - Female Bernese Mountain Dog

19-03-2024 Paisley is a very gentle natured girl and is quite worried at the moment and has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Paisley will run away from us when we approach her but once given time she settles in our presence but does look at us with big worried eyes. Paisley will need a calm adult only home that can give her lots of love and tlc as she learns to trust and love her new family. Paisley adores her kennel friends and has never known life without the company of other dogs. She will need a kind confident resident dog that she can copy around the house and is happy for Paisley to copy them around the home and comfort when she is unsure. She will need an adult only home as she will find children too overwhelming at the moment. Paisley has never lived in a home before so will need understanding adopters that can help her learn new skills such as housetraining and learning to walk on a lead/ harness when she is ready. Paisley has some old wounds inside her ear which our vets will look at. Paisley is such a dear soul who has the sweet gentle personality and will need to some time in a loving home to be able to flourish and come out of her shell. Paisley has a Grade 2-3 Heart murmur which requires ongoing medication and will need to be monitored by adopters vets, Our vets have advised that further investigation by adopters would be very beneficial to fully assess her condition.
