Milo - male Bichon Frise

Milo does have some ongoing medical needs which our team at the centre would be happy to talk you through. He thinks food is just the best and this is the best way to make friends, especially something super yummy like chicken. Milo is a 7 year old Bichon, who is looking for his forever home. He is looking for an adult only home with minimal visitors and no visiting children. Milo needs a home that isn't open plan and his new family will need to be willing to have things like stair gates and crates in place to continue Milo's training. He is looking for a forever family that can be committed to visiting Milo a few times to get to know him and get involved in all his training with guidance from our Training and Behaviour team. Milo could share his new home with another dog, however he wouldn't be suited to living with more than one as he can become upset when he's left out of playtime. Milo is learning to wear his muzzle out on his walks as he can be vocal around some dogs if they are vocal to him. He's an independent little lad who likes to take life at his own pace, he loves to pootle around the centre and take everything in! He isn't too keen on intense handling so will need to wear a muzzle at the vets and for grooming which he's learning to do with lots of tasty treats! Ideally he would like to have someone home with him most of the day whilst he settles however this could be gradually built up over time once he's relaxed into his home routine. Milo loves nothing more that rolling in the grass, especially when it's frosty!
