28-03-2024 Simmer is a poor scared little man who has a sensitive soul and come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. Simmer is overwhelmed to find himself here at the moment and is feeling quite unsure around us. When we approach him in the kennel he does run away and when in our arms he remains quite tense but will allow you to stroke him. Simmer will need a secure home as he is a flight risk and runs when scared. Simmer shows some of his sweet personality when he is around his kennel friends and will snuggle up with them in bed and follow them around the play yard. He is looking for a kind calm adult only home who has experience in scared ex-breeding dogs that haven't had much socialisation with people. Simmer will need an adult only home as children will be too overwhelming for him. He has arrived very matted so will be groomed soon and has dirty ears which we are cleaning. Simmer will need at least one confident resident dog in his new home that is happy to have him snuggle up next to them and that he can gain comfort and confidence from in his new home. He will need kind understanding adopters that can help him learn new skills such as housetraining and walking on a lead/harness when he is ready, this may take some time and he will need adopters that understand this. Simmer is such a dear little man who just needs someone to love him and give him time to realise how much love is waiting for him in the world. Simmer is being treated for a mild ear infection.
