Tuffty - Female Cavapoo (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Poodle)

25-10-2023 Tufty is a scared girl who has come to us from a breeder. She is worried about us and finding her new surrounding a little overwhelming. She had a small cyst removed from her back at the time she was spayed. Tufty nibbles our finger when we hold her partly from fear and partly with curiosity. She is a flight risk so will need a secure home and garden in a calm and quiet adult only home with at least one kind resident dog to be her friend and help her to settle into her new life. Tufty has never lived in a home before and so this will be quite scary at first as she learns about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. These are things which may take her a while to pick up as the garden may be a scary as the house at first so her adopters need to have plenty of patience and love to help her learn and be sure she is comfortable walking on a harness and lead in the garden before taking her for a walk in the outside world.
