Whiskey - Female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Cross

14-03-2024 Whiskey has come to us from a breeder and is a gvery sweet but shy girl. She is easy to handle but can be a bit skittish and unsure. She is a sensitive soul who will need a calm and gentle home where there is at least one other dog (preferably a cavalier) to be her friend and who will allow her to cuddle up with them for comfort and support if she wants to. She will watch what they do and then start to copy them which will help her with house training. Whiskey will need to learn about how to walk on a lead as at the moment this is far too scary for her to even consider but with time, love and patience she will gradually start to realise she is loved and there is nothing to fear and her adopter will be rewarded with a devoted forever friend. Whiskey has a Grade 3-4 heart murmur, she doesn't require any medication for this at the moment but it is something her adopters and their vet will need to monitor going forwards.
