Inkie - Female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

14-03-2024 Inkie has come to us from a breeder and is very shut down and worried about being approached but once in your arms she does settle down if you speak gentle to her. She needs to see our vet to have her heart checked and although her travel documents say she is 2 year old we feel she could be about 4. Inkie is underweight so having 3 meals a day to gradually build her up. She is a sensitive soul who will need a calm and gentle adult only home where there is at least one other dog (preferably a cavalier) to be her friend and who will allow her to cuddle up with them for comfort and support if she wants to. She will watch what they do and then start to copy them which will help her with house training. Inkie will need to learn about how to walk on a lead as at the moment this is far too scary for her to even consider but with time, love and patience she will gradually start to realise she is loved and there is nothing to fear and her adopter will be rewarded with a devoted forever friend. Inkie has PETS travel document.
