Rex - male Chihuahua (Long Coat) Cross

Rex is a sweet and sensitive boy who hasn't been exposed to much of the world and is really looking for someone to open up his world slowly. He will need calm and patient owners who are willing to go at his pace. He will tend to stand back and choose to observe things from a distance, then once he feels comfortable come around for a little fuss. Although initially worried, he has slowly relaxed and engaging more with staff members. He is happier to get to know someone while out on his walks and is best to give him a chance to approach you first. He loves his enrichment and enjoys a tasty treat now and again. With some love, patience and understanding Rex will make a super addition to a home.

Rex is a 1 year old Chihuahua cross Shih Tzu. He is a lovely lad who is looking to be rehomed with his mum Regina as he gains a lot of confidence and cues from her. Rex would prefer a quieter household and can live with children aged 11 years old and above. Leaving hours will need to be built up gradually, but once settled in could be left with enrichment for a couple of hours at a time. Rex will need his new family to help him with the basics, like toilet training and learning how to walk on the lead. He can live with other dogs, as well as Regina.
