Dolly - female Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) Cross

Dolly is a chihuahua x she is 9 years old and came to us through no fault of her own. She is currently in a foster home and is doing well but is nervous of new people and will sit on the top of the sofa if unsure on visitors. She hasn’t shown much interest in toys or food but does like high value food, like chicken and hotdogs, so new owners can make friends with her this way. Has been fearful in the car.

Dolly is ready to find her forever home. She is a sweet girl but is worried of new people, so she is looking for a home with older teens of 14 plus. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home but can have calm walking buddies. She has been distressed in kennels so is looking for her new owners to be around most of the time to begin with and build up alone time slowly. She will need confidence building and being taken out slowly as she hasn’t been exposed to much of the world. She will need a private secure garden to help her with housetraining and so she can have an outside space she can potter around in. Dolly will need to meet her new family multiple times to build a bond before going home.
