Candy - Female Cocker Spaniel

11-04-2024 Candy is such a gorgeous girl who a very sweet nature and kind soul, she has arrived at the rescue from a breeder to find her forever home. She has arrived with a wound on left ear which our vets are looking at. She is nervous but is very easy to handle and settles in our arms for a gentle fuss. Candy absolutely adores other dogs and has clearly never known life without their company. She will need a kind, confident resident dog in her forever home that she can copy and get comfort from as she gets used to her new world. Candy can live with dog savvy children who are respectful of her needs and understanding of her background. She has never lived inside a house before so will need understanding adopters that can help her learn new skills such as housetraining and learnign to walk on a lead/harness when she is ready. Candy is such a wonderful girl who will thrive in a calm, loving home and be able to come out of her shell. She cannot wait to be a much loved member fo the family. Candy has a Grade 2 heart murmur, she doesn't require any medication for this but it is something her adopter and their vet will need to monitor going forward.
