Cerys - Female Cocker Spaniel

11-04-24 Cerys is a sweet but worried girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She is very submissive and although she is scared of us she rolls straight on to her back showing her belly. She loves her kennel friends and takes her confidence from them so will need a kind and gentle resident dog in her new home. She is going to nee to learn all about house training, how to walk on a lead and other such skills so will need yout time and patience as she tries to get these right and learns all about your home routine. She will need lots of gentle encouragement and in time she will begin to discover her true personality and begin to shine. Cerys has a Grade 1 heart murmur, she doesn't require any medication for this but it is something her adopters and their vet will need to monitor. She also has Grade 1 luxating patellas that will need to be monitored, this may improve as she builds up muscle but may need further investigation in the future, which wouldn't be covered by insurance. She also has slightly swollen ear canals and is receiving treatment for this at the moment.
