Dolly - Female Cocker Spaniel

22-04-2024 Dolly is a timid little girl who is a little overwhelmed to be here and has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Dolly is so grateful to have a cosy bed and spends her time snuggled up in it and loves a cosy blanket. She will run away from us when we approach her but once in our arms she settles although she doesn't appear to enjoy being handled very much yet. Dolly will need a calm adult only home that can give her lots of love and tlc as she learns to trust and love her new family. Dolly adores her kennel friends, she is very gentle to the dogs she meets and has never known life without the company of other dogs. Dolly will need a kind confident resident dog that she can copy around the house and is happy to snuggle next to her in bed. Dolly has never lived in a home before so will need understanding adopters that can help her learn new skills such as housetraining and learning to walk on a lead/ harness when she is ready. Dolly has a cherry eye which will be repaired by our vets when she is neutered. She has also arrived with an ear infection which she will be receiving treatment for. Dolly is such a sweet girl who adopters will have the privilege of seeing blossom into a happy girl in with time. She is currently receiving treatment for a ear infection. Dolly has a pets travel document that states she is 3 years old but our vets think she is closer to 4 or 5 years old. Dolly has a Grade 1-2 Heart murmur which does not currently require medication but will need to be monitored by adopters vets.
