Gilley - Male Cocker Spaniel

01-03-2024 Gilley is a gentle but nervous boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He adores to be around other dogs and is much more comfortable to give us a curious look and walk past us when they are around. Gilley is looking for an adult only as he would find children to overwhelming at the moment. He is very good with other dogs and enjoys snuggling up to them in bed and seeing what they find interestign in the play yard. Gilley will need a home with at least one kind confident resident dog that is happy to take Gilley under their wing and give him comfort as he copies them around the home to settle into his new life. Gilley has never lived in a home before so will need help learning new skills such as housetraining and learning to walk on a harness/lead when he is ready. Gilley will need some TLC and patience in a calm loving home for him to realise how loved and safe he is. Gilley has a Grade 1-2 heart murmur, he doesn't require any medication for this at the moment but it is something his adopter and their vet will need to monitor going forwards. He is also currently being treated for a ear infection. Gilley will need a cat free home.
