Remmy - Female Cocker Spaniel

20-11-23 Remmy has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a very scared girl who is feeling very overwhelmed to find herself here and if pushed out of her comfort zone she will start to panic and may choose to make the wrong decisions. Once she gets to know you, she does start to relax and will accept a gentle stroke. She will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home where there are no visiting children and with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and take her under their wing. She is very worried about human interaction at the moment and will need adopters who will take things slowly at her pace as she learns to trust and realises that human hands can be kind. She is a sad little girl who just needs lots of love and kindness as she settles in to her new life. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She doesn't yet walk on a lead and will need to get used to wearing a harness and lead around the home and garden until she has enough confidence to venture outside.
