Ruby - Female Cocker Spaniel

27-04-24 Ruby is a gorgeous girl who was initially purchased from a breeder by a family, but unfortunately after 3 months she still hasn't settled into her new home. Ruby is a scared girl and was living as an only dog, which she struggled to cope with and her owners felt it would be kinder to her to bring her to Many Tears where she can find a home with another kind dog who will be her friend and with adopters who have experience of ex-breeding dogs. She is a sweet girl and despite being frightened, she is easy to handle. She doesn't yet understand how wonderful life as a pet can be, but with time, love and patience and another confident dog to copy, we don't think it will take her too long to start to come out of her shell and to settle into her new life. She has started to learn about home life but will still need adopters who are kind and patient as she settles in and learns about house training and how to walk on a lead. Ruby is a lovely girl and in the right home she is going to truly thrive.
