Cody - male Spaniel (Cocker) Cross

Cody is an active 3-year 5mth old spaniel is an extremely lively young boy who loves nothing better than being out exploring. Due to his training plans we will require the family to make multiple visits to the centre until there is a sufficient bond, and the owners are comfortable with Cody's training plans also. He must have access to a substantial size secure garden in his new home to zoom about in and burn off some energy. This little lad will require his family to make multiple visits to the centre and be willing to have Cody visit the home for trial day's out.

Cody is an energetic lad who is looking for an Adult only, active, rural home who ideally has knowledge with the spaniel breed. This little whirlwind will need his new owners to be patient and committed to own going training as Cody needs, to be super stimulated both mentally and physically, especially with a ball or a toy. He can be vocal and slightly distressed when left alone, so again the leaving hours will need to be built up over a period of time. Cody has showed guarding behaviours so care will need to be taken around high value toys and food. Ongoing training and guidance will be with the help of our Training & Behaviour team, this will include Guarding, being around strangers, dog reactivity, being in the vets and grooming. Cody does have to be kept on a lead and muzzled when out on walks.
