Kodiak - male Collie (Border)

Potential adopters will need to live within an hour of the centre, this is so we can help Kodiak adapt to home life by bringing him to visit him new home. His forever family will need to attend a few 1-2-1 training sessions with our behaviour team, who will tell you everything you need to know and help you build a relationship with this lovely lad!

Kodiak is sweet and sensitive lad who is looking for a patient and understanding forever home. He can be worried and overwhelmed by home life and will need adopters willing to give him the time he needs to find his paws. He would like a home with adults only and would like to be the only pet, however once he's feeling more confident he could have doggy friends to enjoy his walks with. Kodiak would prefer a peaceful location that can offer him quieter walks away from busy roads and too much hustle and bustle. This gorgeous lad is a very clever boy who is learning lots of new things (with help from some tasty treats of course) like how to wear a muzzle when he sees the vet as his finds this a bit of scary experience. Kodiak must have access to his very own garden where he can play with all his favourite toys, the soft squeaky ones are his favourite. Potential adopters will need to be understanding and have experience of his breed or being willing to do lots of research and learning with the help of the team here!
