Lucy - female Collie (Border)

Lucy is a sweet, sensitive lady who will need her new guardians to make a few visits to meet her at the centre as she can be worried by new people. Once she warms up to you she loves to explore and can be a fuss pot too. Lucy will need an adult only home as the only pet with few visitors, so she can feel at ease and relax in a safe space. Lucy is uncomfortable with some dogs but could socialise with calm dogs in quieter walking areas away from the hustle and bustle. She is not too pleased with vet visits and will need to be muzzled during examinations- she gets lots of treats during her training. She has spent a short amount of time in a foster home, where she was making lots of progress with her housetraining. Her favourite place for a snooze was on her carers feet or a big cosy bed. She will need access to her own secure garden where she can explore in a safe place.
