Shy around strangers, Bobbi likes to build a friendship with new people at his own pace. However, his carers say that taking the time to get to know him will be truly worth the wait! As Bobbi becomes more familiar with you, his confidence will begin to grow, and his fun and playful side will begin to shine. Once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll enjoy interacting with you over a game of fetch and swap, nuzzling into your side for a gentle fuss, and participating with you in fun training. Bobbi is an adorable, 11-year-old Border Collie who is a rather sensitive soul. He is apprehensive around new people, as well as loud or sudden noises, so will need to live in an adult-only home. Bobbi’s perfect home would be somewhere peaceful, situated in a quieter location away from the hustle and bustle, and where he can enjoy getting to know his new family without the disruption of too many visitors. He loves the company of other friendly canines, and they tend to give him confidence whilst out on his walks. However, while Bobbi would like to have familiar walking buddies, he would best be suited to a home where he can relish all the attention as the only pet. It may take Bobbi a while until he feels fully settled into his new environment, and in the initial stages, it is suggested to allow him open access to the garden. As such, a garden of his own is essential. He’ll also need a quiet section of the house where he could take himself off to feel safe and relaxed when overwhelmed.
