Hewey - male Collie (Border)

Hewey is a 2 year, 3-month-old collie who came to us through no fault of his own. Being a collie means he is super smart and enjoys mental stimulation as well as being very physical. Hewey can be vocal when being left alone and is not used to the car so this will need to build up slowly with patience and training. This super lad needs ongoing dog socialisation .A little love and understanding will in return give you a very lovely, affectionate companion.

Hewey is ready to search for his forever home. He can live in an Adult only home that are familiar with energetic dogs. Hewey must be the only pet in the home . This chap displays typical traits of a collie ,instantly friendly but, will need his new family to have a hands off approach in the first instance. Hewey will greet you with a waggy tail but he does also have a nervous side. Due to his love of Humans he will need his new family to be around most of the time .This doggy dynamo loves to explore , play with plenty of enrichment games and puzzles and loves a tasty snack as his reward. Hewey will need multiple visits from his new adopters to the centre to build his confidence .
