Zero - male Dachshund (Smooth Haired)

Zero is a happy little fella who has been much loved by his family but circumstances have meant he's on the lookout for a new home. He's brilliant with people but he will take exception to being touched whilst resting, and has snapped when this has happened. Zero is a very bright lad who knows how to give paws and roll over, and he loves to go walkies and get muddy! He likes routine and familiar things, but can be picky about is food - his favourite thing one day will become his least favourite the day after! Zero is friendly with other dogs but can be nervous about approaching them. He has been walked with several dogs since being in our care but he has mostly chosen to avoid them, so he's probably happiest by himself. Zero loves his toys and although he has favourites, his little eyes light up when he's given a new teddy! He's a super little dog and will do just fine with a family that retains boundaries with him from the beginning.

Zero needs to be the only pet at home, in an adult only environment due to previous incidents in his home. He is house trained and can be left for up to four hours without worry. Zero will need a few visits paying to him at the centre before he goes home for good. He has some mild spondylosis.
