Scrappy Doo is bound to make for a wonderful addition to the home along with his friend. These sweet pals have a beautiful bond and enjoy relaxing in each other’s company, pottering on their walks side by side, or playing a game with their toys. Scrappy Doo is a particularly playful pooch and becomes very excited when receiving a new toy to play with! He is also the more confident of the two, and tends to make friends quickly, whereas Astro may need a little longer. Scrappy Doo is a loveable Dachshund with a fun-loving character! He’s looking for a home with his friend Astro, who is also his best pal. However, he’s not overly keen on unfamiliar pooches and will need some support from his humans to build up his social skills. Other than living with his friend, Scrappy Doo will need a home as the only pet. Despite being a happy little chap, Scrappy Doo does have a sensitive side and would benefit from ongoing training and confidence building. As a result of this, as well as a previous history of growling at a child, Scrappy will need an adult-only family. He can be chatty at times, and especially if he’s feeling overwhelmed with lots going on around him. However, while he does calm down quickly, we feel he would thrive best in a quiet and peaceful household. Scrappy Doo and Astro love one another’s company, but they also rely on their people pals for comfort, so they do find alone time challenging. Adopters who are always around in the initial stages of settling them in, before gradually building up the times they leave them would be ideal.
