Max - male Dobermann Cross

Max is an exuberant lad and will take some time and patience to adjust to a new home as he can’t hide his excitement when having a nose around his new environment. He will need owners to be around during the day to help adapt and gradually increase any time being left on his own. Max is a lovely lad and for an active, outdoorsy family – will be a fun addition.

Max is a one-year-old Doberman cross Dachshund. This very bright lad is always eager to please and will work hard for a tasty treat. He does have a lot of energy and will benefit from lots of mental stimulation on top of the exercise, and this will hopefully help him burn off his energy. His excitement can lead to him pulling whilst on a walk, so Max will need continued training with this. If the children in the home are used to bouncy dogs, then he can live with 14 years and over. He is looking for a pet-free home, so that he can gradually build his social skills when out and about with dogs and learn how to meet and greet calmly.
