Dio - male Dobermann

Rio is a big lad and can be strong on the lead, so will need owners who can physically manage him and help him master his loose lead walking. He's a very clever boy who loves to show off his tricks, so we don't think it will take him long! Dio will need his own secure garden where he can play and zoom around with his favourite toys!

Dio is a big handsome lad who's looking for a home that are able to continue his education. He's come to us with very little history so we don't know if he's had any home-life experience. It's likely he'll need help with training in all areas such as housetraining and basic obedience. We recommend any time being left is gradually built up leaving him with lots to do to keep him busy. Dio isn't a big fan of lots of handling such as when he see's the vet, so he's learning to wear a muzzle for his vet visits! Dio is looking for a home where he'll be the only pet as he's not quite mastered his social skills, he can sometimes bark at other dogs out on his walks so would like access to quieter areas where he can enjoy the peace and quiet. He'll need a home with older children of 16+, who can be understanding of his sensitive side and give him the space he needs when he's feeling overwhelmed. Dio is a stunning boy who has lots of potential and would love a family who can help build his confidence and teach him all he needs to know about the world.
