Skye can be a little nervous when first meeting new people but comes around quickly, especially if you have treats! She's a fast learning, already knows sit, paw, wait and drop and is super keen to learn more in her new home. Skye enjoys a fuss and a cuddle once she knows you, but is quite an independent girly overall.
Skye is a gorgeous 7 year old Husky crossed with a Golden Retriever. She is looking for an adult only home who have some experience of owning a dog before. Skye gets worried when she sees other dogs and can be vocal so is looking for a home that have close access to quiet areas as she does enjoy calm , quiet walks. Skye can be restless in the car and she can be left for a few hours at a time. Skye is also toilet trained. She loves going on walks but can be strong on lead and can be a little sensitive of intense handling like vet checks or clipping her claws. Skye will need a quiet place to eat her food within the home as she is a little anxious about people approaching her whilst she is eating. She's a super sweet girl who learns quickly and will make the right home a loving companion.
