Kevin - Male Cross Breed

25-01-24 Kevin originally came to us as a 4 month old puppy. We were unsure what breed he was and he found a lovely home but he just kept growing and growing and growing some more! Kevin is now a very large boy at 45kg and unfortunately due to his owners health, they felt they were unable to manage a dog of his size and so made the heartbreaking decision to return him through no fault of his own. He then got adopted by a lady who was looking for a large dog but sadly he was a little too strong for her when he showed negative behaviours such as being bolshy, chewing at his lead, getting frustrated if he didnt get his own way and being pushy as to where he wanted to go. She made great progress with him but when he felt pushed he made some wrong choices and so now we are in the very sad position that he is looking for a new home again and this time we absolutely must get the match right for this boy. He is a fantastic boy with a wonderful temperament. We are told he is good with other dogs and is just an all around good boy when things are going his way. He is quite a calm boy and is happy to wander over to you to ask for a gentle fuss. He is quite headstrong and will need an adopter who can physically hold him as he can pull on the lead and who is experienced with handling a large dog who may want to do something you don't want him to do. He is a very sweet boy who would like a quiet adult only home with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with him and will take him on lovely long walks and adventures. He would be happy as the only dog in the home.
