Cookie - Female Crossbreed

Hello! My name is Cookie and I’m a 6-year-old female crossbreed looking for a loving new home. You eagle eyed followers will notice that this isn’t my first time at the centre and that I am sadly on the lookout for a home again.

I know commands like “sit” and “paw” and would love to learn more! I’m a friendly, sweet girl but I can be quite shy and anxious when being handled, so my new owners will need to be patient with me whilst I build my confidence. Because of this, I think I would be best suited to a quieter home where I can relax and take my time.

I’m independent and love exploring, I consider myself a real adventurer despite being on the more “mature” side - move over David Attenborough! In fact, I love exploring so much that I can get a bit carried away when out walking and sometimes I forget my manners. I will need some training in this area so I can learn that adventuring doesn’t have to be done solo, and my humans can come along with me if I just slow down a bit. I enjoy a fuss and absolutely love to be groomed! Which is a big plus because as you can see my coat needs to be kept in tip top condition!
