Jax - male Crossbreed

Jax is an adorable Four-year-old German Shepherd cross Dobermann. He is instantly friendly with new people. He is affectionate, loves attention, fuss and snuggles. He builds strong loving bonds with his main careers. He likes to go out for walkies and has visited the beach. He enjoys a dip in the sea. Despite his size, he walks well on his lead, he has learnt to loose lead walk, due to his size, he can be strong when excited. He likes quieter walks away from dog populated areas. He can make doggie friends and he prefers calm and smaller dogs to walk alongside. He knows a lot of basic training including ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘wait’, 'leave', and ‘paw’. He loves to use his nose in scent enrichment games and he enjoys learning new tricks. Jax enjoys playing with toys. His favorites include the squeaky variety, tug toys, ball and fetch.

Jax can share his home with teenage children. He is looking to be the only dog in the home, and a home without small furries, birds, or cats. He does have a high prey drive and care will be needed around livestock. He has learnt to wear a muzzle for when out and about to protect the local wildlife. Jax could cope with a reasonably busy home environment. Jax is housetrained, he may need reminding in a new home. He is happy to travel in the car. He will need a nice secure garden with high fences.
