Nero - male Italian Corso Dog Cross

Nero is a four-year-old Cane Corso who is one in a million! He is the ultimate snuggle buddy! He just wants to be with you, spending time with you, and enjoying a fuss and and affection. His house manners are great which would make him easy to live with. Nero loves to spend quality time in our staff accommodation bungalow with his people. Nero does lack some confidence and is fearful sometimes of the unknown but happy in general to explore and investigate. He is worried of thunder and does not like to walk in the rain. Nero enjoys shorter walks, short and sweet, variety is the spice of life. He can be strong on his lead at times which is something to bear in mind when applying for Nero. To make up for less exercise, Nero enjoys mental stimulation – he loves to learn and knows many tricks. He is a big lover of food! He enjoys playing with toys and likes chase and tug. Adopt Nero for a loving companion who will be your best friend.

Nero is looking for a loving home. He could live with children aged fourteen-years and above. He will need to be the only dog in the home, and we have no history of Nero with cats, small furries, or livestock. Nero has been doing well working on his doggy social skills, he is selective with his doggy pals and has made a few friends here at the rehoming centre. He would benefit from quieter walks so he can continue working on his social skills. Nero can be a bit hesitant around new people and with visitors to the home, however, once he has made a friend, he is a friend indeed! Nero is housetrained. He travels well in the car. Nero is searching for a home where he can receive a low level of exercise due to a heart murmur, which is managed by lifestyle choice and medication.
